Training on Kitchen Test Performance to Assess Fuel Usage Among Beneficiaries

As part of our commitment to promoting effective and sustainable clean cooking solutions, Inuka Youth Development Organization has conducted training on **kitchen test performance** for the project team and field facilitators involved in monitoring improved cookstove usage.

The training focused on equipping participants with practical skills to conduct kitchen tests that help determine fuel consumption, cooking practices, and the performance of improved cookstoves among beneficiary households.

Through these assessments, the team will collect important data on fuel usage, including the amount of firewood or charcoal consumed, cooking behaviours, and the benefits experienced by households using improved cookstoves. The information collected will support evidence-based decision-making and help measure the environmental and social impact of the clean cooking initiative.

The kitchen test performance is an important step in ensuring that the improved cookstoves are delivering the expected benefits, including reduced fuel consumption, lower household energy costs, improved health conditions, and protection of natural resources.

We appreciate the dedication of our project staff, village facilitators, community leaders, and beneficiaries for their continued cooperation in making this initiative successful.

Together, we are advancing clean energy solutions and building healthier, greener, and more sustainable communities.
