COMPLETION OF IMPROVED COOKSTOVES DISTRIBUTION AND START OF MONITORING ACTIVITIES

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the distribution of improved cookstoves under our clean cooking initiative, “Tunza Mazingira Tumia Jiko Banifu.”

Through this project, thousands of households have received improved cookstoves designed to reduce the use of traditional three-stone fires, improve household health, save cooking energy, and contribute to environmental conservation by reducing pressure on forests.

Following the completion of the distribution phase, Inuka Youth Development Organization has started the monitoring and evaluation activities to assess the usage, performance, and impact of the cookstoves among beneficiary households. The monitoring process includes household visits, user feedback collection, and the installation of heat sensors on selected cookstoves to measure actual usage patterns.

We appreciate the continued support of our partners, community leaders, village facilitators, and households who have contributed to the success of this important climate and community development initiative.
